Even IPA takes some of it off why I'm sparing with the IPA and only give each pad a couple of gentle wipes each with a cotton bud (and get through a lot of them.) ![]() What did you use to clean the rubber pads? If you've been too enthusiastic and/or used to aggressive a solvent, you may have removed enough of the conductive coating to cause problems. and have 100% success even with previously very badly intermittent keyboards. I've never once had to resort to conductive paint etc. I restore/repair vintage synths I clean each conductive rubber pad gently with IPA and a cotton bud, then clean the PCB contacts with Servisol 10 (applied with paper towel) followed by a polish with one of those mildly abrasive blue 'ink erasers' does the trick. IME it's unusual for it to have failed to respond to cleaning. ![]()
